Rev. Steven & Doreen Parkhill
Pastors and Administrators
Pastor Steve is the lead pastor of South Canonsburg Church was ordained in 1985 and has served here since 1995. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biblical Literature: New Testament from Oral Roberts University and a Master of Divinity degree from Asbury Theological Seminary and a post graduate certificate from Lakewood Bible Institute. Professionally, he has served as the Dean of Students at Lakewood Bible Institute and Graceland University and as Director of Lakewood Bible Institute and Antioch University International.
Pastor Doreen is the Co-Pastor of South Canonsburg Church and has served here in the ministry since 1989. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History Secondary Education with a Psychology minor. She has taught grades 8-12 in a Christian school and has served on the mission’s field in Africa, China, Eastern Europe and Mexico. Steven and Doreen Parkhill reside in Canonsburg with their two children.
Gwyn Cimino-Green
Director
Gwyn has earned a BSBA in Business Management from Waynesburg University, associate credits in Early Child Development and certification in Child Day Care Management. Mrs. Green joined Rainbowland in 1989 as a teacher. In 1990 she accepted the position of Director and has played a major role in the development of the program, summer camps and their curriculum. She has been involved with the Kids Church ministry, Nursery, Vacation Bible School, is part of the Worship Praise team and has put in many volunteer hours with the children’s ministries at South Canonsburg Church. Her heart’s desire is to plant seeds of hope and encouragement in the lives of children and share the love of Jesus with them.
